"Winning is not important, but the most important thing is to take part"

The Sheares hall road relay team is made up of a group of highly motivated runners. Members of the team hold positive attitude towards the training sessions. This made the road relay team a grooming ground for varsity runners. For the past few years, the team has produced quite a few varsity runners. Hopefully this year we could see more runners making it to the varsity team. Training are held 2 to 3 times per week (in the evening), depending on the date of the competitions. As the track is just at the doorsteps of the hall, the team could easily walk to the track and train. The most important competition of the year for the team is the inter-hall games. The team have performed well for the past few years and finishing 2nd in last year inter-hall games. We hope that in years to come, the Sheares road relay team could be the champions. Besides the inter-hall games, runners are also sent for external competitions to gain exposure. Besides running, the team also organizes other activities like team outing, captain's treat, games etc. These activities add fun to the team and bind the team together.
